01
Anatomy first
Facial layers, vasculature, danger zones, and the anatomical reasoning behind every entry point, depth, and product choice. Technique without anatomy is memorization.
Medical aesthetics training
A physician-led approach to medical aesthetics education: anatomy first, judgment before technique, and complication management taught as a core skill rather than a closing slide. Built from two decades of operating clinics and a surgery center, and from training thousands of practitioners.
The curriculum
01
Facial layers, vasculature, danger zones, and the anatomical reasoning behind every entry point, depth, and product choice. Technique without anatomy is memorization.
02
How to read a face, set realistic expectations, screen the patient in front of you, sequence treatments, and write a plan you can defend and repeat.
03
Neuromodulators and dermal fillers taught conservatively: product selection, dosing logic, cannula versus needle, and knowing when the answer is not to treat.
04
Recognition, escalation, and management protocols, including vascular occlusion pathways. Practitioners should be prepared before they need to be.
05
The conversation that protects both sides: documentation, photography, informed consent, follow-up, and honest scope of practice.
06
Pricing, protocols, staffing, inventory, and the reporting an owner needs to know what is actually happening in the treatment room.

Why physician-led matters
“A weekend certificate is not a credential. Competency is.”
Most complications in aesthetics trace back to judgment, not dexterity: the wrong patient, the wrong plan, or a practitioner who was never taught what to do when something goes wrong. A physician-led curriculum treats those as the syllabus.
Training is delivered through MedSpa Institute, the practitioner education platform Dr. Arviv founded and leads.
Licensed clinicians practicing within their scope, and the owners responsible for the standard of care in their clinic.
